1960 Epiphone Upright Bass made by Gibson

1960 Epiphone Upright Bass made by Gibson in their Kalamazoo Michigan workshop about 1960 best we could determine the age of this bass. Serial numbers 432 are stamped in the end of the bass right under the lip of the bass front. This bass had a few seams loose when we got it, handled now. Ready to go to work recording or gigging.
All original parts to my knowledge. Endpin is a simple wooden peg. Tailpiece is missing the lovely logo it came with, 3 small holes tell where it was mounted. Tailpiece is nicely figured wood, bass is in excellent condition with edges very intact. Only thing that could be done to improve this bass is re-do the neck repair. It is solid but has a couple straps of metal screwed across the glued neck joint. Sturdy and not going anywhere but odd looking.
This bass is a collectible for sure for the Gibson or Epiphone enthusiast.
