This guitar is a rare accomplishment of acoustic electric quality. Just read what these owner-players of this guitar have to say.
Cort MR710F Critique:
"I have been playing for 20 years and have owned and played Fender and Ibanez acoustics. For the price this guitar is outstanding. It is a clean and crisp instrument that is well made. Sound wise, it would take some guitars that are twice as expensive to match it- including Ibanez and washburns. It proves you can find a bargain if you are willing to 'listen' to guitars as individuals, not as names. Randy"
Cort MR710F Critique:
"I run my Cort 2 ways. One way is through an Ibanez PT4 acoustic processor (simple compressor, 3 band eq, chorus, and digital 'verbs). The other way is direct into the line input of my band's Mackie 808s. The Guitar acoustically sounds great. Rich lows and pronounced highs, and acceptable volume for such a cheap box. The pre/pick up combo is the clincher. It has more gain than my partners Fishman matrix, and is quiet and sweet. I can dial in ALOT of lows and the mids can be cut as much as I need. Other players often come up to me to find out what the heck my guitar is and how I get such a good and realistic acoustic sound. I have it dialed in and a little compression helps. I have put this guitar through hell. It has stood up to some regional road use, freezing cold cargo vans, several drops, and my singer knocking over a mic and stand which hit squarely on the spruce top....twice!!!! No loose braces yet. The way it stays in tune, even with my psycho bluegrass attack, is impressive! In this regard it out performs my Martin and my Gibson J-45. This ranks high with me. Turns out that Cort is one of the biggest guitar makers in the world. They make some fenders, Ibanez, Washburns, and God knows what else. If it got stolen I would buy another. Marco"
